A Practical Look at Doing Business in Vietnam
CETA Consulting recently joined the Leap4Growth session in Riga, Latvia, titled “Look beyond the postcard. Discover Vietnam’s hidden business potential.”
During the session, our CEO, Csaba Bundik, shared a practical, down-to-earth perspective on doing business in Vietnam, drawing on his many years of hands-on experience in the market.
Rather than focusing only on economic figures and growth stories, the session explored what companies really need to understand when approaching Vietnam, from the business environment and market dynamics to local culture, decision-making processes, and the realities of building relationships on the ground.
A particularly valuable part of the session was the discussion with participants. Their thoughtful and practical questions led to an engaging exchange on the opportunities, challenges and realities that European companies may encounter when entering the Vietnamese market.
We would like to thank the Cleantech Latvia team for organising the session, as well as the wider Leap4Growth project team and everyone who joined us in Riga and online for contributing to the discussion.
At CETA Consulting, we believe successful market entry requires more than knowing the numbers. It starts with understanding how the market actually works, the people behind it, and the local business context that shapes decisions and partnerships.
We look forward to continuing these conversations and supporting more European companies as they explore business opportunities in Vietnam!
The event is organised as part of the Leap4Growth programme.
